Helping youth leaders LAST

It is often said that the average youth leader lasts about 2 years in the role.

A previous generation of NZ denominational youth reps created a website and booklet called ‘Sustainable Practices’ on this topic (see below).

Our recent NZ survey gave an average length of (details pending) years -but a ‘median’ (middle) length of (details pending) years.

The key learning from the below webpage/booklet is that Senior Pastors and Church Elderships have a larger role to play than is often recognised. Many youth leaders feel unsupported. This point cannot be understated.
