The ‘Lead and Feed’ fund

Uniting youth leaders, city by city and town by town

When youth leaders across a city or town meet regularly (8 times annually), something shifts. As the national youth outreach survey demonstrated, unity between leaders unlocks courage and vision that no single group will find alone ― resulting in wider outreach, shared events, and an equipping of youth that multiplies impact.

The Lead and Feed Fund exists to catalyse exactly this ― regular gathering (approx monthly / 8 times per year) of youth leaders in every city and town with a high school.

How the fund works

$8 per attendee per gathering is given for ONE inter-denominational youth leader gathering per term ― bringing the key youth leader of each youth group from across your city/town together to EAT in a private setting like a home or church lounge. The fund is specific to shared-meals in private location suiting the growth of trust and shared vision. (Café meals and coffees are not covered.)

The ‘youth outreach survey’ evidenced a direct connection between regular youth leaders’ gatherings and increased innovation in outreach – which increases momentum and growth.

Example: Estimating 8 leaders at each gathering per term. $64 per meeting for food / $256 passed to you for your youth leader gatherings for the year.

What $8pp can achieve?

A home-cooked bacon and eggs breakfast, or fish and chips or a $7 pizza per person for a dinner.

The fund helps you get a new pattern started ― and you can reapply each new year while funds last.

The fine print

  • Inter-denominational gatherings only ― not denominational events or training days.

  • One leader per youth group ― the key youth leader, not multiple staff from one group.

  • Food in a home or church lounge only. Not café meals or coffees.

  • Funds go to a church account. Unspent funds can be held for a future meeting.

  • If you won’t meet again, please return funds via AllTogether.co.nz/donate.

  • A brief note confirming you’ve met is the only accountability asked.

  • Reapply annually while funds last. Full discretion over approvals rests with those funding this.
