Youth Unity in SCHOOLS
Youth aren’t reaching out until they are reaching out at school – because outreach has to be relational, and is what we do where we are!
Our recent united survey of NZ youth ministry revealed that.
If youth will unite in their schools to pray and consider what they could do, conversations will be started – that will then carry over to visits to youth groups and church youth events. There is a vital process here. Youth unity in schools is essential to the mission!
Resources
This is a possible ‘brand name’ for school groups proposed by Catalyst, with multiple groups initiated from 2025 onwards through their travel and vision-casting.
Check out their resourcing HERE, and their ‘Jesus Clubs’ manual below:
Knowing simple creativity amongst youth is the key, a European schools movement known as ‘New Generation’ created some magazines, to pass on the kinds of ideas youth were coming up with in a season of healthy school groups. That movement lost momentum – however one resource is preserved via Godtalk here:
Pray For
Your School
Day
Proposed amongst the national youth leaders, this day is likely to be initiated in NZ in 2027. Planned for late February, its purpose will be to help Christian youth in each school UNITE, that they might PRAY and consider what they could DO in the year ahead. Contact your own denominational youth leader or any organisation leader listed on this website for more details.
